Lodging and Local Accomodations

Arrangements have been made with the Tallahassee Doubletree Hotel to hold a block of rooms for our conference guests at specially reduced rates. A conference shuttle will provide daily transportation from the Doubletree Hotel to the conference location on campus. If you choose to stay elsewhere, you will need to provide your own transportation to the conference facilities.

We recognize that travel funds are very limited due to the economic conditions. Therefore, we have negotiated a rate of $100/night (single or double) with the Doubletree Hotel. This is 33% off from the 2009 rate! For most conference participants, the new rate is like having a night free!

The Doubletree hotel is located in the heart of downtown Tallahassee, and is within a fifteen-minute walk from Florida State University campus. All rooms have voicemail, data port, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, and cable TV. Special amenities include a large exercise room, and business center.
